What does lumaten mean?

The origins of Lumaten

Lumaten derives from two words: illuminate and Aten.

From the Latin illuminare (to literally light up or brighten), illuminate also means to explain something that is difficult to understand.

Aten is an ancient god from Egyptian mythology, usually depicted as the disk of the sun. Egyptians wore the sun symbol of Aten as a forehead dot, similar to the Hindu bindi. They believed this enlightened third eye could see beyond the physical to observe the soul within.

Aten saw with great clarity when others were deceived by their own senses. At Lumaten, we seek to see beyond the physical and the obvious, so we can illuminate the true drivers behind human behaviour for our clients.
